Social Issues Project - Year 8 Christian Education

As part of their Christian Education project, a group of five Year 8 students were involved in making teddy bears to hand out to newborn babies at St John of God Hospital.

The students met on several occasions, over weekends and after school, to design and make the teddy bears in the quest to make a difference in the community. This activity showed the generous, warm heart of our students and exampled their fine leadership skills.

The teddy bears were received warmly from the Hospital and the newborn babies have a special bear they can keep. Overall, this was an amazing initiative of our students and a worthwhile endeavour.
