From the Head of Senior School

Thank you…

We wish to take this opportunity to thank all parents and guardians for their support during what has been a busy Term 3. We have appreciated the support in all its various forms. We try very hard to provide the 'Learning That Matters' in a form that is contemporary and relevant now and in the future.

We do not get it right all the time either, and so we thank you for your grace. We have a great desire to improve, and one way this can be achieved is to receive feedback from you. To the staff who have worked so hard to ensure learning occurs, we acknowledge your efforts. Their dedication is incredible and allows our students to learn and master.

Finally, to the students, a huge thank you for your efforts and co-operation throughout the term. You have provided the 'good work' in all ways and for this we salute you.

Year 10 Standardised Testing

All Year 10 students shall undertake a standardised test in each of Mathematics, Science and English during the first week of Term 4. The 40-minute, online tests are the same as those completed by students at our Middle School and Bellarine Campuses.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Year 12 Celebration Day

On Wednesday, 25th October the last offical day for our Year 12 cohort, a special morning is planned. A formal breakfast will be held at 8:15am in the Library for all Year 12 students, the Clock Tower Visit, activities and the final Chapel service will be held. This is a very important day in the year for our Year 12 students. It is a time of reflection and excitement as they finish their schooling here at Christian College with dignity. We wish them all well over the next few months.

End of Term 3

Our final day of Term is today and we finish at 2.30pm.

Start of Term 4

Just a reminder that the first day of Term 4 for students will be on Tuesday, 10th October and will begin at Middle School for the start of Term assembly in the SAC at 8:50am.

God Bless and have a wonderful, restful break.
