Interaction within Physical Education Classes
During Term 3, VCE Unit 2 Physical Education students have been learning about the characteristics, traits and styles of coaching.
They have also been learning about the stages that youth go through in skill development and the various types of skill training that maximise learning in the sporting domain. As part of this theoretical understanding, our Year 11 students have instructed and coached in two of our Year 4 classes at our Junior School Campus.
Not only has this given our Senior School students the opportunity to display their learning, it has also been of benefit to our Year 4 students, as they have the opportunity to interact with older students in a fun and engaging way. All agreed afterwards that the students had a great deal of fun in these lessons, and that the Senior School students did a fantastic job of planning and implementing these activities.
