All Schools Knockout Athletics Competition

On Thursday of Week 9, a team of six girls represented Christian College at the All Schools Knockout Athletics Competition at Lakeside Stadium.

We have waited for the results and it is exciting to share that our team finished 6th overall, with some great individual achievements. Throughout the morning, Kya Werner competed in Shot Put, Molly Seller competed in Javelin (a new event for her), Bethany Dean and Bianca Pocklington ran a competitive 800m race, Nyah Brown competed in the Long Jump finishing 4th overall, and Kasey Perkins ran the fastest time of the day in the 90-metre hurdles with a time of 14.24!

Our 4x200m Relay team finished 8th out of 21, and both Kasey and Nyah finished in the top 15 for the 100m Sprint. All team members acted as responsible, respectful and encouraging athletes on the day, and the support of parents was very much appreciated! Congratulations to the girls on a super effort!
