Last Sunday, our Back Creek Farm celebrated its 21st Anniversary of the Year 9 Rural Studies Program with a 'Family Fun Day' up at our Scotsburn Farm!
It was such a wonderful day celebrating this milestone. With beautiful weather on our side, more than 400 people attended, including some of the 1997 inaugural year students. The day was full of entertainment, good food and great company, including our VCE Rock Band, Junior School - Belmont Choir, the always enthusiastic Mr Kevin Smith, raffles, an animal nursery, tug-of-war and other activities.
We feel very blessed to have such a wonderful farm, which our students and the whole community got to enjoy. Many who attended also enjoyed the tasty treats and coffee at the Back Creek Café in Meredith as they returned home.
We would like to sincerely thank the following companies, who generously donated goods on the day:
The Warrnambool Cheese and Butter Factory, Allansford Cheese World, Meredith Dairy, Bidvest Group, The Farmgate Shop in Elaine, Origin Coffee, Back Creek Café in Meredith and Daryl and Annette Ferry.
The Christian College Foundation would also like to thank those who gave so generously to the Scholarship Fund - your donations will enable more children to have the opportunity to attend Christian College and experience 'The Learning That Matters'.
