Junior School Show Day 2017

On a warm and sunny Spring day, the whole Junior School community came together to marvel at the talents of our children and celebrate one of our biggest and longest-running events - The Junior School Show Day.

Included in the day’s activities were a 'Sideshow Alley' run entirely by the Year 4 students, a jumping castle, Chapel displays and an animal nursery encouraging a ‘hands-on’ animal experience. On display in the Chapel were a large number of competition entries, including flower arrangements, lego constructions and decorated biscuits, just to name a few.

Junior School staff had a tough job allocating the awards and it was encouraging to see a high level of participation by the students who entered imaginative entries into the various categories. The Sideshow Alley was a central focus of the day.

The Year 4 students displayed excellent leadership and service to their peers in preparing and running a stall designed to entertain and amuse. Stalls included face painting, mini golf, a tattoo parlour, a photo booth, ‘The House of Fun’ and many more.

Everyone had a great day and I am sure everyone slept well that night!
