This week in LITEhouse

This week in LITEhouse, the Year 5 students were immersed in historical Geelong Advertiser newspapers dating back to the 1840s.

As part of the 'Action in the Community' unit, students are required to create their own newspaper relating to the Eureka Rebellion, while also making links to today. Some of these will be on display at the exhibition at the end of term.

Students used the library whiteboard tables to visibly record facts from their newspaper articles. They were also required to view other students' work presented on the tables and provide feedback.

Well done to the Year 5 students, we are off to a great start in LITEhouse!
