VCAL Exhibition Night

VCAL Exhibition Night

On Monday, 23rd October, the Senior VCAL Students and their families gathered together at the Courthouse Youth Arts building to reflect on the work achieved by the students throughout the year. The night was filled with Art and Dance and also displayed a collection of woodwork projects completed by the students.

This year the Senior VCAL students had the wonderful opportunity to use the Courthouse Youth Arts building in Geelong as a base for a multitude of different projects. Some of these projects included visiting the Geelong Library and Heritage Centre, hosting various guest speakers, using the local supermarket to choose meal plans and devise budgets. The students were also involved in decorating the courtyard in the Courthouse building. The students painted a mural with local emerging artists and created recycled wine barrels and wood palette gardens.

We would like to acknowledge the work of Julie Barnes, Manager of the Courthouse, for her willingness to support our VCAL program.
