Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge

The Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge encourages students to read and promotes a love of reading as a way to develop important Literacy skills.

This year we would like to congratulate the following students for completing The Challenge. These students have read a minimum of 15 books in three terms - that is an impressive effort! Students who met The Challenge received a Certificate of Achievement signed by the Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews, and had their name included on the online Honour Roll.

And, of course, they also had some wonderful adventures along the way!

Here are some of the reasons our students love to read:

"Reading is like being on a roller coaster. I love the ups and downs of the story, it makes me feel like I am right in there." Kendra Ball, 5B

"It takes you to another place, and it inspires me to write." Bethany Dean, 7H

"Reading takes you to different worlds and then you can escape yours, if you want." Christian Sollberger, 6M

"I love it when a story draws you in and you can use your imagination.” Fane Vaitohi, 5R
