Sport Aerobics World Championship

In July, Kameron Brooks (7Y), Rubi Berechree (7Y) and myself (Ali Cronk - 6B) qualified for the FISAF Sport Aerobics World Championship in the Netherlands.

We had been training this routine for about a year. Our journey started with a 14-hour flight to Abu Dhabi. This was where we trained and adjusted to the new time. We also had a fun day-trip to an awesome water park in Yas.

Then we traveled to Amsterdam where we had a day to explore. Then it was on to the competition in Leiden. We competed against three teams from the Czech Republic, two teams from Russia and one team from South Africa.

We competed in three rounds where we had to qualify for finals. We did the best routine we have ever done. We received an amazing 5th placed result. That was really good for our first World Championship.

It was an amazing experience for all of us, and we hope we get to go again in the future.
