From the Head of Campus

Orientation Day this week was an exciting time for students and staff at Junior School to celebrate the many possibilities that a new class and a new year ahead brings.

Students in Prep to Year 3 assembled in their 2018 homeroom groups and enjoyed time getting to know their 2018 teacher and classmates. They participated in a range of learning experiences that encouraged positivity, anticipation and a desire to find out more about their coming year.

On Orientation Day, we also had the great privilege to welcome new students across the Junior School Campus and our 2018 Prep students. Our 2018 Prep students spent the morning with their teachers and enjoyed special time with their 2018 Year 4 buddies.

It was lovely to hear a Year 4 student describe her joy at having had the opportunity to be a 'Buddy' on Orientation Day. Our current Year 4 students attended our Middle School Campus on Orientation Day and participated in an exciting and welcoming program.

On Orientation Day we are reminded of the scripture verse from Jeremiah 29:11, which reassures:

11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare[a] and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

God Bless
