Celebrating Success in the All Schools Track And Field Championships
We wish to acknowledge the success of our students who represented the College at the 2017 Athletics Victoria ‘All Schools Track And Field’ Championships last weekend.
These Championships bring together the state’s most talented junior athletes, competing for their respective schools across a full Athletics program. The College is very proud of each student’s performance at these Championships, and we wish to congratulate the following students:
Jessica Seller – 4th in Pole Vault
Nyah Brown – 1st in 400m, 3rd in 200m, 8th in Long Jump
Kasey Perkins – 1st in 200m Hurdles, 4th in 90m Hurdles, 6th in High Jump, 4th in 200m
Owen Costin – 4th in 3km Race Walk
Ethan Grills – 1st in 1500m, 5th in 800m
Zach Devonish – 7th in Hammer Throw, 9th in Triple Jump, 10th in Discus, 12th in Long Jump, 13th in Shot Put
Finlay Kirsopp-Cole – 2nd in 400m, 5th in 200m.
Furthermore, we wish to congratulate Kasey, Nyah, Ethan and Finlay who were selected in the Victorian Track And Field Team to compete at the National All Schools Championships in December, as a result of their ‘Top Two’ performances at these Championships. On behalf of our College community, we wish these students the very best at the National Championships.
