Christmas Hamper Drive - Project Care

As you may be aware, the 'Adopt A Family' program is not running this year.

We have been involved with the program since its inception, and we wish to continue with our students helping those less fortunate in our local community to have a happy time at Christmas. As such, we would ask the students to bring along items of Christmas food, rather than gifts this year.

If each child brings two or three items, this should mean that each Homeroom will be able to create a generous hamper to be distributed by the different charitable organisations to families in Geelong. We would ask that food items are not home-made and are non perishable.

Examples:

Food items - chocolates, fruit juice, soft drinks, fruit cake, lollies, dry biscuits or crackers, pudding, tinned fruit, chips, pretzels, tinned vegetables, tinned tuna or salmon.

Other - Christmas tablecloth and napkins, advent calendars, bonbons.

Students may begin bringing these items in as of Monday, 20th November, with the hampers being finalised by Monday, 4th December. Thank you in anticipation.
