Moving to Middle School, through the lens of our Year 4 students

A few of our Year 4 students were asked to reveal what they were looking forward to next year when they move up to Middle School.

Hannah Morgan (4R)
Firstly, I am really looking forward to Market Day and the Pop up Café.
Secondly, I am looking forward to going to the Year 5 camp at Sovereign Hill.
And lastly, I am looking forward to the Chilly Challenge Day

Kishore Samuel (4R)
1. Science because they have a science lab, they use chemicals do experiments.
2. Sport - because they have a swimming pool and we don’t have to take the bus there. I’m also looking forward to basketball game - Golden Child because they have different rules.
3. Making new friends because some new students starting at Middle School may not know many people. I can help them adjust to CCG.

John McClure (4R)

I am looking forward to many things in year 5, but the thing I am looking forward to the most is science. Science will be awesome because we can learn the fundamental rules of life; like why not to put a glass filled with water in the freezer.
There are so many things to expand your knowledge through the different sciences, physics, biology, chemistry and astronomy. With science, you can make anything work, building robots and exploring through what life’s purpose is.
I am particularly interested in exploring chemistry and its many nooks and combinations.
