Christian Education - Impacting the Community

As part of the Christian Education program in Year 8, students have been encouraged to consider opportunities that would make a positive difference in the community.

Two students, Holly Harris and Dana Ford, chose to raise money for the Cotton On Foundation by selling cookies and merchandise at a Pop Up Café event. The two students collaborated within their Food Technology class and connected with Cotton On, raising over $600.

We can certainly be proud of these students, taking time to serve the community and make a difference in our world. Here is a reflection from Dana Ford:

On Friday, 1st December, Holly and I visited the Head Office at Cotton On to donate the money we raised for the Cotton On Foundation. This has been an excellent learning experience because we have been able to help others who are less fortunate than ourselves. This will be something we will remember and we encourage other people to take the opportunity to help others if you have the chance.
