Message from The Head of Campus

Dear Parents

As our year draws to a close today, can I take this opportunity to thank and congratulate our students, parents and staff for a rich year of learning together at the Bellarine Campus. There have been many highlights of  incredible learning throughout the year, many were captured in our end of year Presentation Evenings for both the Junior and Middle Schools. These nights were a wonderful celebration of our students and reflected strongly the love and grace of Jesus.

The Junior and Middle School final assemblies today focused our attention on the story of Christmas, and the centre of the Christmas story being Our Lord Jesus Christ. As a College this year we have been talking about ‘good works’ (Ephesians 2:10). At this time of Christmas, when we celebrate the birth of Jesus, it’s important that we are reminded that God’s purpose for our salvation through Christ Jesus is to do ‘good works’, in His name. This is God’s grace, and it is a privilege, responsibility and calling to do ‘good works’. May you pause to reflect on Jesus, the greatest gift God could provide at Christmas – His name is Immanuel, God with us, the Prince of Peace.

I wish you all a fabulous time of relaxation with family and friends over the holiday break.

Nicholas Watson
Head of Campus
