Basketball opportunities for Junior School students

Australian 2016 NBA number one draft pick, Ben Simmons,  is capturing the attention of many budding junior basketballers.  The recent excitement surrounding Australian athletes in the NBA and large numbers of people watching the NBL has seen unprecedented participation at the junior levels.

This Saturday 3rd February there is a 'Come and Try Session' at the new Geelong basketball stadium, AWA Alliance Bank Stadium from 8.30am to 9.45am. Following this will be the commencement of the Aussie Hoops program. Please see the attached flyers for further details.

We are excited to provide your child with the opportunity to join the Christian College Eagles Basketball Club. As part of this club students will have the opportunity to train, develop ball skills, contribute to a team and gain an understanding of the game

The CCG Eagles, training for Prep to Year 4 students takes place on Tuesday afternoons at our Middle School - Highton Sports and Aquatic Centre, with games on Thursday afternoons at AWA Stadium and Geelong Arena. We already have a number of students playing in eight teams from Prep to Year 4. The winter season will commence early in Term 2.
