A Great Start to 2018 in Year 3

As part of our Integrated Studies unit ‘My Australian Heritage’ the Year Three classes have already been involved in many stimulating and challenging activities, including descriptive writing about the Australian Kangaroo. During Maths rotations, the children made three dimensional structures using straws and joiners, they created their own patterns using shells and developed large numbers for other members of their group to solve using magnetic MAB blocks. The students approached our first Investigation lesson with much enthusiasm as they chose the name of a country at random, then worked out how they could search for information about it.

We look forward to sharing many more learning opportunities with you throughout the year.
