Media Studies at the Villa Paloma
Media Studies has kicked into gear and the new Year 10 class is excited to be part of the 21st century learning Media space at the Villa. The class is undertaking a study of Narrative and Developing Production Skills for the moving image. This year Media has a new study design for Units One to Four. An exciting challenge ahead for the Year 11 and 12 students. Already we have seen one student, Harry Doull, enter his short film into several competitions and be successful with his Documentary on Queenscliff. This year the Year 12 students are also inspired by the fantastic efforts last year by Lily Di Sciascio who was awarded a perfect score for the subject and her Magazine & Photography made it into Top Design. Her work is now being displayed at the Melbourne Museum.
