Family Welcome Picnic - Celebrating Community

It is always a delight to share in events with students, staff and families that unite us in Community. This week’s Welcome Picnic was no exception. The opportunity to meet, talk and enjoy beautiful weather together was a joy and a privilege. It was wonderful to see parents, staff and students alike joining in with Mr. Smith on the roundabout, in dance. The dancing was followed by student and parent visits to homerooms and specialist classrooms to share and celebrate their learning.

Events such as this contribute to our unique and precious Junior School. I am reminded of the words in Hebrews 10:24 that as community we are to “consider how to motivate one another to love and good deeds”. I pray that as community we continue to come together in times of challenge and in times of celebration with support, service and love to one another.
