Year 7 Camp 2018

Last week our Year 7 cohort set off for the much anticipated Year 7 Camp at Cave Hill Creek. This camp is always a highlight of the school calendar as students get the opportunity to learn more about each other and connect with their teachers and chaplains in a context outside of the College grounds. The wide range of engaging activities and challenges presented opportunities for students to develop their teamwork, leadership and cooperation skills, while discovering new things about others and themselves.

“The camp was amazing, so much fun, and there was lots to do and you never got bored! It was one of the best camps I’ve ever been on.” Isabella Henry – 7B

Year 7 camp was a great way to get away from the business of settling in to a new school. Camp helped push me out of my comfort zone to complete different challenges and meet new people. My highlights included; canoeing, bushwalking, camping out and The Decathlon. I loved the 3 days we had at camp!” Jacob McKie – 7G
