Christian College’s Isaac Hanneysee joins 20th Anniversary Shave Team
On Tuesday 13th March, Year 12 Christian College Senior School student Isaac Hanneysee will join more than 20,000 Aussies in 2018 as the Leukaemia Foundation celebrates the 20th birthday of the iconic World’s Greatest Shave campaign.
Christian College Senior School will be represented by Isaac as he joins more than 1.9 million extraordinary Aussies of all ages who have helped beat blood cancer over the past two decades by getting sponsored to shave, colour, wax, cut pony tails, banish beards and trim top knots.
Leukaemia Foundation CEO Bill Petch is encouraging anyone who has been thinking about shaving for some time to make 2018 their year to sign up.
“Whether you have a personal connection to blood cancer or simply want to have fun and raise money for a good cause, we’re asking Australians to join the World’s Greatest Shave for our big 20th anniversary,” said Mr Petch. Senior School students are invited to support Isaac by making a donation to the day and wearing casual dress, students can also purchase a raffle ticket to win a huge hamper donated by The Geelong Confectionary Company, or students might like to enter the silent auction to help shave Isaac’s hair!
“With your help we’re [The Leukaemia Foundation is] aiming to raise $16 million so more people survive their blood cancer.”
