Highton Campus House Athletics Carnival

Last Friday saw our Highton students run, jump and throw across a number of traditional athletic events, along with novelty events where they accumulated points for their respective House. All students are to be congratulated on their efforts on the day. The House ‘spirit’  shown on the day was particularly evident in the relay events at the end of the program, which saw all of our students surrounding the runners in the finishing straight. We were blessed to watch some excellent athletic performances on the day, and we congratulate the Taylor Tigers on their win in the second of our major House Carnivals for the year.

With this House Athletics result, and our Swimming Carnival earlier in the term (1st Penman, 2nd Flynn, 3rd Burrows and 4th Taylor), every House should be looking forward to the next major Carnival, which is the cross-country event being held in the first week of next term.

House Athletics result:

1st Taylor 3,830pts.

2nd Flynn 3,762pts.

3rd Penman 3,731pts

4th Burrows 3,173pts.
