Easter Bonnet Parade

Wow what a blessing today was. The children from our Surf Coast Campus visited the Junior School and participated in their annual Easter Bonnet parade.

There were bonnets of all different shapes, sizes and colours and our children had such a lovely time spending time with their buddies, dancing, singing and parading their bonnets.

After the fun of the parade the children took part in a very special Easter Service led by Mr Rowan Thurman and Mr Kevin Smith. This time together gave the children the opportunity to reflect on the true meaning of Easter, which they have spent time learning about over the last few weeks.

After the service the children boarded the bus and headed to the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery. While at the Chocolaterie the children had the opportunity to learn how chocolate is made and then they all made a large chocolate lollipop, which they then decorated and of course wanted to eat.

This was such a wonderful way to finish off what has been an incredible term for our little preps.
