Project Care – Pancakes for the Good Friday Appeal

On Friday 23rd March, we kicked off our Project Care Program for 2018. To help raise awareness and funds for The Good Friday Appeal our Year 9 students cooked over 500 pancakes for the rest of the student body. It was a great experience for the students of Year 9 to develop their collaboration and communication skills as they worked industriously getting the orders ready for each of the classes, cooking the pancakes and delivering them.

Students were encouraged to come to school in their Pyjamas as part of the Good Friday Appeal PJ Day and to bring a donation. As a school, we were able to raise $1260 to go to the Appeal. This money will be donated during the telethon on Good Friday, so look out for Christian College Bellarine.

Our Project Care days are a highlight for our school community. Our students get excited and embrace the opportunity to help those around us. This is testament to their developing character and a servant heart.

Thank you for your enthusiasm and support with Project Care.
