Anzac Day Service 2018

ANZAC day is a significant day in the calendar for all Australians. It was also commemorated the day before at all Campuses of Christian College. The students gathered at 9am and took part in moving commemoration services remembering and honouring the sacrifices of those that have fought to provide us the safety and lifestyles we enjoy today. Preceding the services all students viewed a short film produced by the college acknowledging the strong connection between the township of Villers Bretonneux, France and Australia. In the war waged on the western front, this connection was forged through the Australian army winning back Villers Bretonneux from German control. A victory pivotal to the success of the war effort. Thank you to all students who were involved in the commemoration services and to those who attended and laid wreaths at local commemoration services on behalf of the college.

Earl Moore
Deputy Head of Campus
