What better way to spend a glorious Autumn morning than strolling down the valley to Spring Creek and watching a kangaroo hop off into the distance. This is exactly what our prep students did this week. Working together they built cubbies, created stepping-stones and made a flag using just the natural materials they could find in the environment. The children not only used the physical skills necessary to build their structure, but they also used skills such as patience, resilience, and learning to work as a team.
On our way back to school the children collected ‘treasures’ and pinecones, which they used to create echidnas. Bush Prep is a wonderful time for the children to develop their relationships with each other as well as develop many other personal skills.
