Marine Studies Excursion - Year 8
Our budding year 8 Marine Scientists spent their lesson at the Marine and Freshwater Discovery Centre on Tuesday. During this time they learnt about all types of weird and wonderful marine creatures, adaptations that enable them to survive in their habitats, their reproductive cycle and so much more. Students also spent time in a laboratory where they explored in detail the amazing structural features of tube worms along with mystery objects and a variety of both living and non living invertebrates which will prove most valuable for their up and coming Colaborative Assessment Task – to produce a Class Resource book on Marine Invertebrates.
