Geelong North Division Girls AFL Carnival - Year 5 & 6

Aside from the lack of rain, it was four seasons in one last Thursday at the Geelong North Division girls AFL carnival. Due to some late “Out’s” and no “In’s” the girls entered the competition with a severely depleted interchange bench. Still, they gave each game their absolute best. Catie, Ally and Niamh kept many opponents at bay with their stifling tackling work, while Mia “Don’t argue” moved swiftly around the ground, fending off players and gaining momentum with many score assists. Abby Moz’s quick hands and ball control contributed significantly alongside Brooke’s consistent ruck work. The CC Bellarine girls finished the day with 4 wins, 3 losses and 15 very tired bodies.
