It's Cool to be Kind!
“Therefore as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Colossians 3:12
At the start of the year, Mr Costa introduced us to this year’s motto, ‘It’s Cool to be Kind’. Mr Costa and Mr Hatswell came up with the idea of creating a recognition system to celebrate acts of kindness within our school community.
Students that have been noticed for showing kindness towards others will be gifted a ‘cool to be kind’ wristband that they will wear for two weeks. After two weeks, these students will choose another student who has demonstrated kindness and present the wristband to them in an effort to ‘pass the baton on’ and build momentum in what is such an important aspect of school life.
