Salvation Army Door Knock Appeal 2018

Christian College aims to inspire students to look beyond themselves to see, and respond to, the needs of others. We strive to teach students that it is more important to serve than be served. To provide an opportunity for our students to serve their local community, each year the College partners with the Salvation Army to support them with their Red Shield Appeal.

We invite students from years 5-9 to be a part of the 2018 Red Shield Appeal in 2018.

When: Sunday 27th May

Time: 9:15-12.30pm

Where: Students will meet Mrs Deretic and Mrs Morrish in the Auditorium Foyer.

Students must be in full College winter uniform.

Students from Year 5 to 9 that are interested in volunteering their time, will need to complete the necessary form and return it to Mrs Deretic by Monday 21st May. Extra forms are available directly from Mrs Deretic.

To make this morning possible we will need a number of adults to help with transportation of our students. If parents are available to participate, particularly as drivers and supervisors of students, your support would be very much appreciated. However, you will need to hold a current Working with Children Card (WWC) obtained by applying at  www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au  and have signed a Volunteer Agreement form (available at reception).

Thank you for your support.
