Christian College Interschool Dirtbike Team - Panmure ‘Grasstrack’ event

On Friday 11th May nine dirt motorbike riders from year 7 to year 12 represented Christian College at the Interschool Dirtbike Team Grasstrack event. The Grasstrack event is a biannual event held at a picturesque track on a Private farm at Panmure, near Warrnambool. There were over 160 entries from 15+ schools across Victoria. There were 6 very competitive classes of riding conducted over the day, with each class having 3 races to decide the top 3 in each class.

Christian College featured heavily in the results with 3rd overall in the combined class relay for all schools. This is a great result from the College riders. Individual honors went to both Brodie Gawith and Flynn Drake. Brodie finished 1st in the 85cc A grade, 3rd in the 125cc class and 2nd overall in the under 150cc all grades all powers. Flynn finished 3rd in the over 150cc farmbike class.

Congratulations to all our team members, and huge thank you to the parents who transported and supported this College team at this event. Without their support our College would not be able to offer this opportunity to these students. We look forward to this event being conducted in the years to come.
