Thank you for supporting the Red Shield Appeal in 2018!!

On Sunday 27th May, we were blessed with gorgeous sunny weather which enabled our Red Shield Appeal volunteers to enjoy the Streets of Highton while door knocking to help raise money for the annual Salvation Army’s main fundraiser.

A combination of 22 Senior School students, 10 supervisors – consisting of Senior School teachers, parents and ex-staff members, came together and volunteered their time to raise a total of $1027.65.  It is truly inspiring the amazing amount of good work we can achieve when we work together as one.

I wish to say a huge thank you to every student, to every staff member, parent and to the local community that generously donated on the day or gave up their time to help fundraise and supported the Red Shield Appeal in 2018! It is because of our volunteers and generous supporters that the Salvos can keep giving hope where it has been needed the most.

Whether you gave a little or gave a lot,

You gave something precious.

You gave…hope

To thousands of local farmers doing it tough

To thousands of local families in crisis

To the families of missing people

And HOPE to hundreds of thousands more so

Thank you from the Salvation Army and from me, Ms. Labrini Soldatos.
