The chilly weather this week did not dampen the enthusiasm our Prep children had when they were heading off for their Bush Prep experience.
Excitement filled the air as they headed down the hill on the lookout for kangaroo tracks and possibly a kangaroo or two.
Once they arrived at Spring Creek our preps were so excited to discover an animal bone. Then our little archaeologists were on the hunt for more. Together they scanned the environment for bones that may be hiding. The squeals of joy from the children when they found another one were heard echoing through the valley.
Our Preps also discovered a branch that was fun to sit on and bounce up and down. That was until too many of them sat on it at the same time.
The Bush Prep experience is such a wonderful time for the children to develop their resiliency, team building skills and their self-confidence.
