Bellarine Campus Red Shield Appeal - Congratulations to Our Students

What an amazing morning we had last Sunday for The Red Shield Appeal. We had a record breaking total of 96 students giving up their time to come and help us door knock in support of Project Care and The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army helps so many people in our community and I was so impressed by the attitude of our students as they represented our college community.

The atmosphere in the auditorium was so full of excitement as each group collected their map and headed out with their driver. On return each group counted their collected money, every group commenting on the generosity of the people on The Bellarine. Our final amount totalling $5236.90.

What an outstanding outcome for our students and even more so for those within our community that this money will have a direct impact on. Just as important though, is the effect this has had on our student body. To be able to celebrate those who came to help and who demonstrated care and hope for those around them. Through these situations we are able to help build our young people into strong, caring and thoughtful people who demonstrate grace and care to those around them.

Congratulations again, to our Bellarine students and their families for helping us support our local community.
