Japanese Speech Contest, Wednesday August 1st
The students in Years 1-4 have worked diligently this term to do spoken presentations to the class. These vary in complexity from a short 5 sentences in Year 1 to the whole story of The Hungry Caterpillar in Year 4. The children do their presentations in class and then the classmates and the teacher choose who they think would best represent their class in the school Japanese Speech Competition. This can be a very difficult task as many students would like to participate and work very hard to do well. The votes are in and the decisions have been made. The following children will be in the Junior School Speech Competition in Week 3, Term 3, Wednesday August 1 from 9.15-11.00 am in the Chapel.
