4R Villa Experience

Treasured moments as the children of 4R  took on the role of mentor and Art instructor with their parents and loved ones. Parents were warmly invited to spend an afternoon creating alongside their child. The children rose to the occasion and enjoyed taking the lead by stimulating and encouraging their parents to become an art maker and tap into their inner creativity. Parents were also able to experience the virtual reality Goggles where images could be brought to life with the click of some buttons.

The hours passed quickly and there was a special energy as parents found themselves drawn into a world where the focus was creating an object of whimsical fun. The memories created completed a journey and resulted in affirmations and positive joy.

Our theme this term was largely food  Art and stimulating the imagination through this fun theme resulted in quirky paintings of ice creams with a generous splash of colour and an assortment of decorations that children dream about.

Our clay activity was ‘The Designer Donut’ and the students were quick to embrace this and create some wonderfully imaginative and fun  ‘Designer Donuts’.

I would like to thank the students for their enthusiasm and wonderful efforts this term.  I also look forward to providing this opportunity to  4M next term.
