AeroSchools Sport Aerobics competition

Ali Cronk (7G) & Rubi Berechree (8Y) competed in the AeroSchools Sport Aerobics competition in Diamond Creek on Thursday 19th July. This event is conducted by Gymnastics Victoria and involves schools from around the State. Over 200 secondary school students participated in this event, where Ali and Rubi combined to compete against 19 girls in their section. As a result of their performance they were awarded a silver medal, which is a great outcome for the hours of dedication these girls give to their sport, and their preparation for these major events. This means that they have qualified to compete and represent the school, and their State, at the Australian AeroSchools Championships to be held on the Gold Coast in September. This competition is conducted by Gymnastics Australia and will see schools from all across the Country compete at this event.

On behalf of the College we congratulate both Ali and Rubi on their success last week, and wish them all the very best for the National Championships in September.
