National Tree Planting Day

Each year, around 3,000 preschools, kindergartens, primary and high schools across Australia take part in Schools Tree Day. Students nationwide have learnt how to dig in for the environment and have fun getting grubby planting over 470,000 native seedlings, trees, shrubs, edibles and flowers.

This week our Prep students took part in this very special day by planting shrubs in our beautiful garden.  Jack and Ned taught the children how to plant their shrub and what their plant will need to survive.

We would like to thank Torquay Bunnings for donating these plants to our campus.
