Understanding Anxiety in Children
This parent information evening with Jules Haddock is being promoted as a community event open to anyone interested; it is relevant to primary and secondary school aged children. This may be something you find useful in conjunction with the MyTERN resources and understandings your child has been using at school.
Please note, this very informative presentation on how to support students with ANXIETY is not a profitable event. Our objective is to disseminate information covering the latest research and findings on how to best assist children who suffer from anxiety whilst charging only $20 in an endeavour to cover our costs – ie speaker professional fee, venue and AV hire, printing brochures, postage etc. In order for these costs to be covered and continue to offer such important information evenings relevant to parenting and teaching we need all the help schools can offer to promote this event. We sincerely hope you can be amongst the many schools who can assist here. The second presentation on Dealing with Young People and Guiding them to Success is also on offer and presented by one of Australia's leading child psychologists – Andrew Fuller. Again, if you can alert your school community and teachers to this information evening it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in anticipation.
